David P. Stockert
President & CEO
Dave Stockert joined Post in January 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was named CEO of Post Properties, Inc. in 2002. Prior to joining Post, Dave served as a senior executive officer in two other public real estate investment trusts (REITs): Duke Realty Corporation and Weeks Corporation. In addition, his career includes investment banking and public accounting.

Dave sits on the Boards of Directors of the Buckhead Coalition (past-Chair), Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), YMCA of Metro Atlanta (Chair-Elect), Central Atlanta Progress (Chair), and Horizons Atlanta. He also serves on the Government Affairs Committee of the Atlanta Apartment Association and is Chair of the Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation. He is a member of Rotary International and is a past-Chair of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School and a past-Senior Warden of Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church.

Dave serves as a board member and President of Post HOPE Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that facilitates service projects, coordinates giving programs, and assists with fundraising efforts for the Company.

An undergraduate of the University of Colorado, Dave also has an MBA in Finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Sherry Cohen
Executive Vice President & Corporate Secretary
Sherry Cohen is Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Post Properties, responsible for the oversight of legal matters of the Company and transaction execution for real estate investment activity, ongoing operational issues, litigation, and public company related legal matters. She also is responsible for risk management, including placement and oversight of corporate insurance coverages.

Sherry received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of ArtsNOW, Inc., the Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts & Sciences, and Peachtree Battle Neighborhood Improvement Incorporated, all 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Sherry is a board member and Secretary of Post HOPE Foundation, Inc.

Chris Papa
Executive Vice President & CFO
Chris Papa has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Post Properties since 2003. In this role, Chris is responsible for overseeing Treasury and Finance, Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax, Information Technology, Human Resources and Internal Audit. Prior to joining Post, Chris served as CFO of a privately held manufacturing company. He also advised and served clients in the real estate, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing industries as Audit Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP and BDO Seidman, LLP.

Chris is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is also a member of NAREIT, Financial Executives International, the AICPA, and the New York State Society of CPAs. He holds a BS in Accounting from Clemson University. Chris is a board member and Treasurer of Post HOPE Foundation, Inc.

Kate Mason
Senior Vice President, Taxation
Kate Mason joined Post in 1998 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Taxation, responsible for income tax compliance and planning as well as property and sales tax administration. Prior to joining Post, Kate was a Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in New York and Atlanta, focusing on the real estate industry.

Kate received a BA from Fordham University and an MBA from Hofstra University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and the GA Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a board member and Assistant Treasurer of Post HOPE Foundation, Inc.

Art Quirk
Senior Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer
Art Quirk joined Post Properties in 2001 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. With more than thirty years of leadership experience in accounting, finance, public reporting, treasury management, tax and auditing, Art has been actively involved in numerous process, technology and reporting improvements, including the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and the development of Post’s quarterly supplemental investor package. Art also serves on the Company’s Technology Committee.

Prior to joining Post, Art was Vice President and Controller at Duke Realty Corporation, a publicly traded real estate company, and for Weeks Corporation, a predecessor by merger to Duke Realty. A member of various merger integration teams, Art assisted with the successful integration of the accounting and financial reporting systems of the two companies. Art also served in numerous positions with the national public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen LLP. He graduated from Auburn University with a BS in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Linda Ricklef
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Executive Director, Post HOPE Foundation, Inc.
With Post Properties since 1998, Linda Ricklef is currently Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Her responsibilities include management of all Human Resource areas, including Health and Welfare Benefits, Retirement Services, Payroll, Compensation, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Recruitment. Linda is a board member and Executive Director of Post Hope Foundation, Inc. A current member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Leadership Forum, she is a past Board member of SHRM-Atlanta. Linda is Chairman of the NMHC Labor and Employment subcommittee and is active with the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT).

Prior to working at Post Properties, Linda was Administrative Vice President for Meyer Properties, in Newport Beach, California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton.

Glen Smith
Senior Vice President, Legal
Glen Smith joined Post Properties in 2000. As Senior Vice President, Legal, Glen is responsible for overseeing operational legal matters, including matters related to property management, vendor contracts, risk management, certain federal regulations, and intellectual property as well as lease-document compliance Company-wide. In addition, he oversees the administration of Company stock plans. Glen also supervises the Security Department, responsible for the physical security of the portfolio, and the Collections Department, responsible for collections, write-offs, and bad debt. Prior to joining Post, Glen acted as Senior Counsel for Bank of America Corporation and held Associate positions at several Baltimore-based law firms.

Glen received a BA from Boston College, and Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is admitted to the Bars of Georgia, Washington, D.C., New York, and Maryland. Glen also holds a Real Estate Broker License in Georgia, Washington, D.C., New York, Virginia, and California.
 

Post Apartment Management

 
Jamie Teabo
Executive Vice President, Head of Property Management
Jamie Teabo serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Property Management, responsible for the management and leasing operations of the Company’s entire apartment community portfolio. Jamie began her tenure with Post nearly three decades ago in on-site roles including Leasing Consultant and Property Manager. From there, she moved to the corporate headquarters and served as Area Vice President and Senior Vice President. In her role as executive sponsor for Post’s technology initiatives, Jamie managed several technology implementations and the rollout of Post’s web-based property management software, revenue management system, and procurement system.

Jamie, a Certified Property Manager, is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She is also a member and serves on the Executive Boards of NMHC, the Georgia Apartment Association, and the Atlanta Apartment Association. She is active in The American Cancer Society as well as numerous animal rescue organizations. Jamie is a board member of Post HOPE Foundation, Inc. She received her degree in Business Administration from The University of Georgia.

Laura VanLoh
Senior Vice President, Property Management
Laura VanLoh, Senior Vice President, Property Management, joined Post nearly three decades ago. During her tenure, Laura has held roles in accounting, property management, and asset management. She currently directs the operations of the Dallas regional office as well as the Texas portfolio. In addition, Laura is responsible for supervising the property revenue management system, managing Post’s furnished corporate apartment division, and overseeing policies and procedures for the Company.

Laura, a Certified Property Manager, serves on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for Uptown Dallas, Inc., a non-profit organization that is the city-designated manager of the Uptown Public Improvement District. She also serves on the Marketing Committee for Uptown Dallas, Inc. Laura is a member of IREM, the Dallas Apartment Association, and the Real Estate Council of Austin.

Kevin Polston
Senior Vice President, Commercial
Kevin Polston joined Post Properties in 2009 as Senior Vice President, Commercial, where he oversees the commercial components of the Company’s mixed-use portfolio. Prior to joining Post, Kevin served as Vice President, Retail Development for Opus South Corporation, and as a Senior Vice President for Cousins Properties Incorporated, a diversified public REIT, where he had responsibility for the development of the company’s lifestyle centers and led the retail development and leasing efforts on urban mixed-use projects. Kevin began his career in the real estate department of the Atlanta law firm of Arnall Golden & Gregory.

Kevin received his Business Administration degree from The University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and he serves on the Board of Directors of the Carlyle Community Council in Arlington, VA. He is also a Certified Retail Property Executive and a Certified Leasing Specialist within the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Chuck Konas
Executive Vice President, Head of Construction & Property Services
Chuck Konas joined Post Properties in 2004, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the development and construction of mixed-use and commercial projects. As Post’s Executive Vice President and Head of Construction and Property Services, he is responsible for pre-development (planning, due diligence, estimating, design, budgeting, scheduling), contracting, construction and development management as well as property services. Prior to joining Post, Chuck was Senior Vice President of Carter & Associates, a leading regional full-service real estate firm, where he led a team of project managers in the development group.

Chuck is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Civil Engineering, and holds a BS in Physics from Guildford College. He is LEED certified and a member of ULI, NMHC, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

David Ward
Executive Vice President & Chief Investment Officer
As Post Properties’ Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, David Ward is responsible for the company's acquisition, disposition, development, and asset management activities.

Prior to joining Post in August 2004, David was Divisional President and Managing Partner for JPI Partners, Inc., where he was responsible for multifamily investment activities for regional offices in Texas, Georgia and Florida.

David is a member of NMHC and NAHB, where he serves on the NAHB Multifamily Leadership Board. He also serves on the Board of Trustees at Trinity Christian Academy-Addison, where he is also Past Chair, and is on the Board of Directors of Apartment Life.

David is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

George Kelly
Senior Vice President, Construction & Property Services
As Senior Vice President, Construction and Property Services, George Kelly is responsible for physical asset preservation of the portfolio, the coordination of new product design details specifically related to long-term operational sustainability, and inspection and acceptance of new product. He also leads the Property Services group and is responsible for the long-term asset capital plan for the portfolio. Prior to joining Post Properties in 2005, George served with two public apartments REITs: Equity Residential and Archstone-Smith.

George is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and a supporter of the Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation (GAIEF). He is a graduate of Auburn University with a BS in Building Construction.
